Flakers are a basic tool in the woodworking industry. They are basically used for cutting wood into the shape required. A large variety of flake knives is available for creating the desired results. With just one work step flakers are able to produce the most elaborate forms and patterns, thus making them a very economical machine.

Flakers: uses

Flakers are employed at various stages in the production process. For example, they can be used to cut large planks of wood into smaller pieces but also for wood shaving in order to create smooth surfaces for pieces of furniture or the like.

Flakers at K-Service

K-Service currently offers two types of flakers, both of them used. The first one is a Pallmann Type PZK 8. It has been completely overhauled and is offered without an engine. The second one, a Maier Type MKZ 4B has been partly reconditioned and fitted with a new main bearing.
