Screens, tumbling or otherwise, are an essential part of the processing of wood. Tumbling screens separate parts of a particular size from the rest through tumbling movements of the drum. It is very cost-effective since the amount of energy needed is very low.

Screens tumbling: area of application

Screens, tumbling or other types, are used in areas where high quality is required, since the soft and slow tumbling process yields very precise results. If a particular size is needed, e. g. for the production of wood pellets, the size can be defined and then the tumbling screens will sift out this size only.

Screens tumbling at K-Service

K-Service currently offers two different tumbling screens with one being available twice. They are all rectangular screens tumbling at different speeds. They have four and five fractions respectively and the Allgaier ARSM 34-12 has 36 square metres of screening surface spread over three floors.
